girls camp

Earlier this month was our long awaited girls camp. This year we were combined with the stake and went to Heber Valley Girls camp. An incredible place with cabins and per President Hinckley's request, hot water and toilets.

Matt was able to come up with me the first 2 days and he had a great time. The girls all love him!
I went home with him tuesday night then came back wednesday morning and stayed the rest of the time. I just love being with all the girls and was having too much fun!
Molly stayed home all week and was shuffled around from various family and neighbors. She seemed to love playing with different people everyday.

Here is the tent where Matt slept. Luckily the local visitors came during the day.

The trust-fall activity (and yes they did catch him)

Here he is playing devils advocate trying to get the girls to go the wrong way

He helped the girls all morning on the giant swing and then got a chance to go himself. I think he loved it.

and me with my cute belly. I didn't get to do a lot of the activities which was fine because then I was able to take pictures..... and took over 600!

I got lots of sympathetic looks as well as a lot of "you are crazy" looks. I am really glad our stake let me come even though I was 8 months pregnant. I have heard most of the time they don't let pregnant women stay overnight. What a wonderful opportunity it was to be spiritually uplifted and get to know all the girls and leaders better. Matt and I both can't wait for next year!

Oh boy oh boy! I am mostly pleased to see that you were still able to accessorize while camping. Earrings are important to surviving in the wilderness! Love ya hun and I can't wait to meet this baby girl.

@Leanne- Matt got to go to girls camp because each ward needed two priesthood holders all the time. He had as much fun as the girls!

@Kacey- Earrings are essential to surviving not only in the wilderness, but every-day life!
